Anna Shekera is a jazz pianist, harpist and co-founder of the Kyiv-based ShekBand: Jazz Family Trio. Building on jazz traditions, she has developed her own vision of contemporary jazz. In 2022, ShekBand released their debut album «The Inflatable Ram». As laureates of 30+ international competitions, Anna and ShekBand represent the new generation of Ukrainian jazz on the international stages.

Anna Shekera is a pianist and harpist of ShekBand: Jazz Family Trio, a Kyiv-based ensemble that, inspired by jazz tradition, has shaped its own vision of contemporary jazz. Alongside siblings Artem (double bass) and Maksym (drums), Anna has performed professionally since 2015. Together, they have become laureates of 30+ jazz competitions and performed over 50 international concerts between 2022 and 2025, representing Ukrainian jazz internationally.

Their trajectory includes prestigious stages such as Tremplin Jazz d’Avignon and Jazz in the Park Cluj-Napoca. In 2025, the trio opened major festivals including Jazzloviec, Art Jazz and Dzyga Jazz, and performed several concerts at iconic venues such as 32JazzClub.

In 2022, they released their debut album «The Inflatable Ram» and are now preparing their second release. Their mission is to inspire a new generation through jazz and present Ukrainian music to international audiences.
