Singer, conductor and composer Lina Nyberg, has for more than 30 years distinguished herself as one of the most creative and idiosyncratic musicians and composers in the Nordic region. She has performed in a large number of countries and as a composer and singer worked with some of the world's leading musicians and ensembles like Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Västerås Sinfonietta, Norrlands Opera Symphony Orchestra, Danish Radio Big Band, Norrbotten Big Band etc.

Lina has released over 20 albums. They have been praised in both the Swedish and international press. Her album The world's a stage, as the Composer in residence of Bohuslän Big Band, was released in 2023.

In 2024, Lina Nyberg released a new album celebrating the work of German composer Kurt Weill, ”Lost in the stars”. The album also features new music by Nyberg inspired by Weill's songs.

Participating musicians are: Daniel Karlsson - piano, Mauritz Agnas - bass and Peter Danemo - drums, with guests Hildegunn Øiseth - trumpet and Fredrik Ljungkvist - saxophone.

Over the years, Lina Nyberg has collaborated with world-famous artists such as John Taylor, Marilyn Crispell, Anders Jormin, Palle Danielsson and Rigmor Gustafsson. She has toured Scandinavia, parts of Europe, Vietnam, Canada, Brazil as well as Japan.
