Lisa Stuzhuk
— Music Manager and Co-founder of CMYK rave
After decades of cultural suppression and industrialization, many Ukrainians no longer know what authentic music truly sounds like — or how to connect with it. By weaving folk into electronic music, cinema, and other art forms, we aim to create opportunities for people to engage with tradition on many levels — while preserving the integrity of its source.
CMYK was born from the idea of merging Ukrainian traditional music with experimental electronic sound.Today, it has grown into a full-fledged music project: we create raves, concerts, and cross-disciplinary collaborations, while also developing our own educational course and label. The goal remains unchanged — to bring traditional Ukrainian music out of the shadows.
